The project is built to help people manage local folders, synced cloud folders, external drives, and mounted NAS shares without giving up control over their data. You can run locally for privacy or connect your own API keys and compatible endpoints for cloud-based inference.

AI File Sorter supports Windows, macOS, and Linux. The core app is free and open-source, while the paid Windows Explorer Extension packages right-click cleanup starts, background jobs, tray access, history, and undo into a faster Windows workflow.
