AI FileSorter is a desktop application for sorting, renaming, and reviewing messy folders with local or remote AI models. It focuses on practical file cleanup across images, documents, and supported audio/video metadata workflows, with preview-first review before anything changes.

The project is built to help people manage messy folders without giving up control over their data. You can use built-in local models like Gemma 3 4B IT, Gemma 1.1 7B, and Mistral 7B, add your own GGUF model, or connect your own API keys and compatible endpoints for cloud-based inference.

AI FileSorter supports Windows, macOS, and Linux, and development continues around better file understanding, safer review flows, local learning and cache controls for more consistent results, and clearer in-app guidance like Quick Start help and FAQ access.
